Waltham Forest Labour is pleased to launch the Waltham Forest Labour Manifesto 2018: Our Borough, Our Future – Shaping Waltham Forest.
Thank you to all of those members, councillors and candidates who participated in our manifesto making process, policy sessions and survey.
Our manifesto process focused on how the council can best achieve the Leader’s three overarching priorities:
· To ensure our streets are clean and safe
· To ensure that everyone has a decent roof over their head
· To improve the life chances of our residents – whether they are young or old
We chose these priorities after listening to resident’s concerns, reviewing the data we hold and thinking about how we can make the borough a better place for our residents.
Labour-led Waltham Forest Council has done some truly inspirational work over the past four years and the Labour Group and candidates believe that the promises made in this manifesto puts us in the best possible position to deliver what matters most to our residents.
Labour is the only party which can deliver a fair, responsible and ambitious programme for our residents and we believe that this manifesto shows off the very best of what Labour can do when in power. We hope that you will share in our vision for the future of Waltham Forest and support us by voting for your Labour candidates on 3rd May.
